The galaxy far, far away is not quite so distant anymore with Star Wars? recent invasion of LEGOLAND? Florida.
Now, when guests visit Central Florida?s newest theme park, they will be able to find the all-new Star Wars LEGO??display in Miniland USA with a scene representing each of the six films along with an additional scene depicting the animated series,?Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
More than twelve months and 1.5 million LEGO??bricks built the force-filled miniature display that includes sound effects, lighting and animation.
The George Lucas six-film Star Wars saga first began when it hit theaters in 1977 and has grown to become a pop culture phenomenon?that still remains today.
LEGO? and Star Wars teamed up for a collaboration in 1999 to release one of the first officially licenesed LEGO? themes.
Star Wars Miniland opened last Friday, November 9, 2012, with an official ceremony consisting of a legion of young Darth Vaders and adult fans eager for the unveil of the year-long project.?This newest LEGOLAND? Florida addition is included with park admission.
