Mass. funeral director chasing burial offers

BOSTON (AP) ? A Massachusetts funeral director says none of the burial offers he has received for out-of-state graves are panning out for the body of a Boston Marathon bombing suspect who was killed in a gun battle with police.
Worcester funeral home director Peter Stefan said late Monday that has received 120 offers from the U.S. and Canada. He says he made follow-up calls on all the U.S. grave offers to take the body of Tamerlan Tsarnaev (TAM'-ehr-lun tsahr-NEYE'-ehv). He said when he talked to somebody in the cities and towns where the graves are located, nobody wants the body there.
Earlier Monday, Stefan said Tsarnaev's mother told him she wants the body returned to Russia. Stefan said he has made calls to Russia, but that it was hard to get anybody to respond.
